Notes on different brands of razor blades for use with a classic double-edge safety razor.

• Mühle
  • was included with razor
  • was fine I guess
  • had no comparison at this point
  • a little scratchy maybe?
  • left some bleeds, but could be a case of my skin not being accustomed to blade shaving anymore
• Personna
  • tried that after the Mühle one
  • immediately felt more smooth
  • glides more smoothly through hairs, less catching on hairs
  • less bleeds, only on my mole a few times
  • all in all very happy, shaving feels good with this
• Derby
  • nope
  • felt much less smooth than Personna
  • caught a lot on hairs, much more scratchy
  • no fun, took out again after half a shave
• Astra
  • better than Derby
  • less scratchy, less catching
  • but more than Personna
  • and some bleeds afterwards
  • skin more irritated than with Personna
  • similar to Mühle I’d say
